Dugout Radar is a free, hobbyist-built app that delivers weather forecasts, rain delay probability estimates, tarp watch countdowns, and related information for MLB games. It is designed to help baseball fans stay informed about weather conditions — nothing more.
Rain delay probabilities, tarp watch timers, "Should I Go?" recommendations, and all other weather-related forecasts are generated by blending data from multiple third-party weather services and applying statistical analysis of historical patterns. They are not guarantees of any kind. Weather is inherently unpredictable, conditions can change rapidly, and our predictions will sometimes be incorrect.

In plain terms: Dugout Radar focuses on rain delay probability for MLB games — it is not a substitute for a full weather forecast. Always check a dedicated weather source before making plans. If you buy tickets because the App said a game would be fine, then it rains and the game is delayed or cancelled, that is not our fault and we are not responsible for any costs you incurred.
Dugout Radar relies on multiple third-party weather data providers and the MLB Stats API. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, real-time accuracy, or error-free delivery of any feature.
Do not rely on push notifications as your sole source of weather alerts. Notifications may be delayed, suppressed, or undelivered due to your device, browser, operating system, or network conditions — all of which are outside our control.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature at any time without notice.
You agree not to reverse-engineer, scrape, or systematically extract data from the App or its APIs; attempt to circumvent rate limiting or access controls; use the App in any way that damages or overloads our systems; or use the App for any unlawful purpose.
All content, design, code, and prediction methodology within Dugout Radar are the property of Dugout Radar and its developers. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without express written permission. Game schedules and team data are sourced from publicly available MLB data. MLB team names, logos, and trademarks are the property of their respective owners. Dugout Radar makes no claim to these marks.
Your use of the App is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or accuracy. We do not warrant that predictions will be correct or that the App will be error-free.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Dugout Radar and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including but not limited to ticket costs, travel expenses, hotel fees, lost wages, or missed game experiences — arising from your use of or inability to use the App, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the twelve months preceding the claim.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, United States. Any disputes arising from use of the App shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Virginia.
For general updates to these Terms, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
